Kyla T.'s Session

Sometimes people think when it comes to boudoir, you have to have a million outfits. But Kyla is here to say less is definitely more.

For her session, Kyla kept it minimal with a basic black lace bodysuit, and used layering to her advantage. Jeans, flannels, robes, button downs, fishnets, the possibilities are endless. And the best part? It still only counts for one outfit. Not to mention how great and diverse her photos are - without having to spend a ton of time changing!

Check out Kyla's session below, and get to know more about why she decided to book a boudoir session.

What is your current "power" song?

My current power song is Chakras by Qveen Herby

What do you love most about yourself?

There is actually a lot I love about myself, as happy as I am to say that because I wouldn’t be saying that if you asked me this question a year ago. (Yay for self growth!!) - I’d have to say my favorite thing about myself is the dedication I have in becoming a better me in all aspects. I don’t want to reach any “destination.” I want to be ever evolving and growing, and I’m dedicated to living a life doing exactly that.

Why Boudoir?

Boudoir is a very liberating form of photography that really helps you align with your sensuality and learn how to be confident and comfortable in it, and I wanted to feel powerful. This shoot definitely succeeded in doing all of those things!

Why did you choose Sunday Best for your session?

I actually met Kylie years prior to this session from a friend who was doing a photoshoot with her, and ever since then I’ve been following and loving her work. When she posted that she was looking for boudoir models I knew I definitely wanted to apply and try to work with her. I’m super grateful I was able to! She’s an amazing person and photographer.

What was your favorite part about your session?

My favorite part about the session was undoubtedly how comfortable Kylie made me feel while taking my photos. This was my first boudoir session, and as nervous as I was going in, those nerves flew right out the window not long after starting.

Anything you would have done differently?

There is not a single thing I could think of that I would have done differently. I really loved how both the session itself, and the photos turned out!

Do you have any advice for anyone looking to book their own session?

My advice would be to not be afraid, and if you want to do a session; DO IT! It’s so empowering and liberating, and Kylie will honestly make you feel right at home. I don’t regret my session at all, and I hope to participate in more sessions with Kylie in the future!
